Over the last few years I have accumulated a wealth of cool digital photos, many of classic old Hotel and Motel signs from bygone era. It’s high time I share them with my readers. I’ll try to provide a little information about each sign, such as it’s location, etc. Unfortunately, some of these signs are gone now. Some, victims of the “Light Rail” development throughout Phoenix and the valley, others simply due to the elements. Enjoy.

Sunset Motel
Along Route 60, West of the town of Aguila. Unfortunately, this place has been down for some time.

Lil' Mountain Inn
Best Snore House in Arizona.
Located in Yarnell, south of Peeples Valley.

This one is up in Showlow near Pinetop. The weather is always so nice up there!

The Kofa
Located in Parker, Arizona, a mile from the Colorado River.

Capri Motel
Wickenburg, Arizona.
At one point, my wife and I were seriously thinking about purchasing this place, but it got away from us. I believe it's open for business, but I'm not sure.
I'll put up a few more photos in the next day or so, providing I find the time. For those interested, I'll be heading to Prescott for a scheduled public appearance on Saturday. Check your local listings for detail. Prescott is full of great places to visit. I'll try to come back with a story.
Hope to see you there!
